You can drag yourself up the same way you can drag yourself down. It is a choice you have to make every, single day. Whenever you are faced with this conflict of choices, bring with you these tips on motivation.

Never mind that you’re not this or that.

It all begins with little excuses like ‘I don’t feel good’, ‘I am not that smart’, ‘I don’t have enough faith in myself’. Then you start believing in these things like they are written in stone, then these negative beliefs become a part of your system, a part of who you are.
Don’t give a second’s worth of recognition on these negative self-talks. Whenever you hear that part of your brain tell you things that can pull you down, shut it out and listen to that less powerful, but oftentimes ignored voice that says ‘you can!’.

Try to have a little faith – in yourself, in what you can do, and the things you believe in. It doesn’t matter if you fail, everyone goes through that hurtful process. What matters is that every time you do, you bounce back, rebuild yourself, and give the world a better you.
Be very careful when choosing your side.

You can either talk yourself into doing the task or not, which means you can either be a part of success that one part of your head says you can be, or take part in the downfall the other side of your head tries to go to. Always take that side of your brain that believes in you, that cares about your well-being, and pushes you to be the person you are trying to be.
Try to win the debate with yourself every time. Remember that sometimes, the act of doing something is not really difficult. It’s the few minutes of mental chatter leading up to doing the act.

Hold on to that something that matters to you.

There is nothing more meaningful in life than that something that we dearly hold on to. Some people call it their passion, others call it their cause. What do you call yours?
Cause, passion, or whatever it is that propels your inner drive to accomplish something is a very powerful source of motivation. It never runs dry. It flows so long as you hold on to that thing you care about. Sometimes, it is what makes people do the impossible in the face of difficulties. And it is that thing that gives them the courage to face and get through the biggest difficulties life throws at them.

Dream big.

Big dreams inspire. It makes people work harder, with even more passion. What would happen to people if they have nothing to shoot for? Nothing. If there are no Olympic medals and several hundred Olympians to compete against, the champions will never exist.

If Mount Everest is not the highest mountain, there will be no mountaineers and hikers who struggle everyday to reach the peak.

If you don’t dream big, you would stay forever in that nook of the world where everything is mediocre, where sense of achievement is an abstract concept, and where success is all but non-existent.

Compete with yourself.

Competing with others is good, but oftentimes it is sure-fire way to demotivate yourself because you will start to compare yourself with others each and every time. Run your own, personal race. How many times have you heard the saying, ‘you are your worst enemy’?
Breaking the Bad Habit of Not Having Enough Motivation.

Finding the thing that motivates you is one thing, it is quite another to stick with it. And even while you have already succeeded in identifying what motivates you, the temptation to give in to more convenient, easier things like procrastination are much more powerful than getting yourself up and going.

Identify that lacking motivation or deliberately making yourself feel demotivated is a bad habit. Something isn’t quite right when you refuse to wake up on time to get to your office. Or, when you allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the power of procrastination when you have deadlines to beat. You know that something is going wrong inside you when the task you have to finish several days ago sits idly on your desk, untouched. And something is not right when you can’t even force yourself to confront a problem that has been gnawing your will to live fully. You lack even the motivation to accept that you are not motivated. So how do you build your motivation from the ground up?

Start with…
Identifying the things that sap out your motivation. It always starts with very simple things in a very natural manner. Then it starts to affect the other aspects of your life, which are not entirely connected with the thing that triggered your lack of motivation. Maybe you just didn’t feel like getting up after your alarm rung off one morning. The next day, you did the same thing and on and on until you developed the bad habit of not feeling motivated to do anything.

The first effective step to gaining back your sense of motivation is to figure out the thing or things that sap the energy out of you. It could be a small thing like not waking up in time or a really serious thing like hating everything about your job.

No matter what the form, you can identify the things that sap out your energy by their power to make you feel discouraged. Start with the sample exercise of listing down the areas in your life where you find no motivation to pursue at all and the particular things which you think makes you feel disheartened. This will help you gain some perspective on the entire issue. You can even derive solutions in simply knowing the cause. This will shed clarity on your issues with motivation.

Then you can move on to evaluating the risks and benefits of not feeling motivated. Believe us, there are benefits to having no motivation – immediate self-gratification in the form of rest for one. And there are risks, for sure. Plenty of them. And the risks oftentimes outweigh the benefits. Discovering the risks and benefits of not feeling motivated could be very enlightening. In general, you would realize that it is never worth it to procrastinate, to give in to the temptation of hating to move a finger to finish your tasks, or to deliberately believe that it is much more gratifying to lie around and do nothing.

Life is for Living!

Finally, commit yourself to change. This is not easy, it never was. But try to set the date for mustering your sense of motivation.

My Mum & dad Loved Life but they had to fight against negativity. We all do..We all have to…

What Do You Really want?

There lies the sublime difference…thoughts become what you want..they are seeds for dreams that become planted not blown away from your fertile mind but nourished with healthy positive focus..

So imagine if you had a little lamp and rubbed it and your wish was “I want to be very successful in business”. The Genie as usual will pop from the bottle and say “Your wish is my command”. Your own statement was positive and thus your wish will come true. The genie will grant your dream.

Now if you rub the lamp and you say “I want to invest in this idea but nothing ever goes right for me. It will probably be just another disaster.”

Guess what the genie will say to you?

“Your Wish is My Command”

What we pour into our minds is what will pour out. If your mind is focused on your fears it will your manifest your fears

We can re-create ourselves for abundance and prosperity if we are willing to start with just one positive thought process. To make a vow that whatever our circumstances now and whatever others think or say we refuse to stay poor or stuck in a rut. Thoughts provoke action. Time to ‘Shift our Thinking’

How do celebs do it?

Katie Price may not be everybody’s idea of a role model and we may think the same of her methods to stay famous. But she has fantastic wealth and popularity.

She had to re-create herself and (even if that is with cosmetic surgery..err, this is not in anyway a suggestion!) ‘Jordan’ (she abandoned her ‘pose’ name too back to her original name as an instance) was prepared to do whatever necessary to re-define her image. Madonna and Tom Jones all re-shaped their image. They changed their lives through looking different and dressing different.  They took advice from people who knew the industry they were in. They were mentored by business agents and music or fashion gurus.

But before they could present themselves to their adoring fans they first had to ‘think different’. Accept advice on their career direction and take risks.

Elton John, Maria Carey, Robbie Williams, have all got successful because they were not afraid to make changes in look and performance.

Do you think Lady Gaga is afraid to take risks and make changes with her image?

That’s why these guys they are still at the top of their game.

Look at the Beatles. Sergeant Pepper, Rubber Soul and The White Album could not be more different from the first albums like ‘Hard Days Night’ and ‘Help’. Their journey of success evolved through making changes and re-defining themselves and amazingly the whole of popular music was indeed a ‘Revolution’ through the ‘dreams’ of Lennon & McCartney.

Pop icons are successful because they are prepared to re-create themselves. They take advice from trusted professionals and people who know the business inside out. Do you think Simon Cowell was afraid to be frank? He is a mentor and nourishes worthy talent even if he is hated for it. He gets results.

How to nourish your dream using the mindset of human legends and make your mark once and for all.

Please note: These relatively simple methods are nothing new. Whole cultures and civilisations have grown froma single perosns vison. Their dream.. Vision and belief have stirred men and women to accomplish incredible objectives over a Millenia. Boadicea, Shackleton, Hannibal, Joan of Arc, Mandela, Geldof, to name a few.

The next Five steps are all that is needed to accomplish your dream and have it safely delivered.

Step 1: Intention. Make a conscious choice to have what you want. Take a few minutes imagining you own what it is you desire. That Lamborghini. That major contract. The slimmer you. BUT..know it is what you want. Have you ever seen a dish on a menu that you wanted and when the waiter served it you wished you had had the stroganoff?

Sometimes we stop wanting because we think our dream is impossible. Too far out of our reach. This is plain fear. Action cures fear so smash through that fear barrier with the previous exercise if you have to before you read Step 2.

Step 2: Commitment to having what you desire. You have to be sure of what you want. No second guessing. You need to not just focus on that villa in Tuscany you need to believe you already have it. That you can describe it in detail. You know the location you want it to be in. Near the beach or above in the mountain by the lake. You have to know how many rooms, the size of the pool, the number of servants. If you dream something you need to know what to do with it when it all comes good. Live it now. So believe and commit to that in your mind and heart. Lack of commitment is always the culprit if dreams don’t manifest themselves. How many berths does your yacht have? Does your country house have a livery, Italian gardens with 2 or 3 tennis courts?Be clear. A vague wishy washy dream is a lonely journey going nowhere. Think in colur. Think in big and tiny detail.

Step 3: Affirmation. Ok you have claimed your dream. You already think that you are on that world cruise. You have sat at the Captains table and the next stop is the Caribbean. You have in every detail what your cabin looks like cabin like? Ok next affirm your dream. Create a picture of what it is like. Activate your dream. Find pictures on google or out of magazines that look just like what is your personal vision. Is the brand new partner you want blonde or darkhaired? Do they like what you like? Are they sexy and smart or cool and mysterious?

Get the images of your ideal soulmate and present them in an album to yourself each morning and night. Wake up with your new girlfriend in picture form and very soon she will be right there beside you in the flesh.

Step Four: Gratitude. This is wholly important. Take a few minutes a day thanking the day you got your dream. Thank who? Thank first the cosmos in which you live and exist as part of. Thank the source of all that is good. Thank the infinite power of the Universe for finding true wisdom. Thank those you love. Say thanks for the day and life and light. Thanks for the gift of life and the power to be a better person. Thanks for the freedom of your mind. The beauty of all that life can bring feel see touch smell and taste. Thanks for truth and the will and ability to achieve your dream and have all the light of this world to come to you.

Now exclaim out loud: “ I choose to have ———–(your present dream)”

Step 5: Let your dream go. The hardest step but you have to ritually let go of your dream but keep the desire. Like you are posting a letter to the cosmos. Imagine if you are ordering off Ebay and you see the item you want. The next step is to bid for it. This is a perfectly ordinary step. You have seen the coffee table you like. You have considered its location in your house. Its measurements. If it will match your other furnishings. Its a great addition.

You looked for a coffee table

You saw one you liked

You pictured in your living room

You carefully checked condition colour dimensions

You bid for it.

The cosmos is a giant universal Ebay. If you don’t ask you don’t get!

Your coffee table doesn’t just turn up without you wanting it first. You also have to have faith, belief and conviction it will arrive in time, be packaged safely and has enough postage. If it turns up the wrong type, ina different size and the wrong colur then what went wrong? You did not identify, clarify, and define your order. You were not absolutely certain of the exact model or at least do your research properly. You left something off the order. You have to be clear of your order. Write it down first. Draw it or keep a picture of it. Be specific. Repeat it. Re-affirm it.

What else do I need to attract positivity?

Here are some no-brainer shopping items just to give you a positive edge. This is not to overwhelm you or bully you. Its just to raise our self  awareness and cope with the any bad energy that always wants to creep in when we are not looking out for it. Remeber ‘nature hates a vacumm’ so we  have to be vigilant in some othe aspects of life that tempt us to be less vigilant.

Things that create bad energy:

Unhealthy lifestyle: Yes I know we love our bingeing but small changes towards good living habits increase our energy levels mental alignment with  just a little more exercise and watching what we eat.Enough said on that one.

Mind food: Its hard to think about your dreams coming true if you spend most of the day trying to kill and maim on a computer game. Or drooling over porn. Or gambling your money away on casino games. Its hard for you to tune into your positive frequencies when your afternoon is sacrificed to endless soap operas depicting grousing hardship and petty small mindeness. Its even more difficult if you get embroiled on social networking sites for hours trying to sort out other peoples problems and moans and groans. Its also impossible to elevate your thinking when the only way you can feel good about yourself is to max out your credit card on stuff you really don’t need. Its hard to heal your mindset and soar to new heights in business if you ‘do lunch’ down the pub for 3 hours each day.

“What you pour into your mind wallet is what will pour out.” Pat Mesiti

What about the good stuff? How can I grow positive energy?

The best way to grow positivity is to turn your mind into an energy ‘greenhouse’ and shift  thinking?
