Cannes Film Festival
If you wanna see some stars, then you really should be in Cannes in May for the Cannes Film Festival. There are multiple films that are shown, promoted, and even nominated for the Palm d’Or. But you won’t just be able to catch a glimpse of the stars on film, you might actually get a chance to see them up close. The rich and famous make there way here to join in on the fun too. So if you plan on taking part in this festival, you’ll definitely want to make reservations in advance as, you could probably guess, everything is bound to be fully booked.
Another great festival takes area in Avignon in July. The Festival d’Avignon is in fact one of the oldest and at the same time one of the most well-known festivals in all of France. This festival is just full of art, music, dance, theater, and cinema all happening in over 20 different venues. However, the Palais des Papes is positively the highlight.
February in France is certainly one ecstatic month. So make your way to the south east coast for the Nice Carnival. Feast your eyes on the flamboyant floats and large puppets during the parade or in fact feast on all of the great French food. Music, dance, and even fireworks are added to the mix to make things even a great deal better. Just remember to book you hotel beforehand. Just imagine how tired you will be after all of the fun.
